Coach Alexis Dreiss grew up in New York City, surrounded by health and fitness her whole life. Both parents passed off their fitness passion to her, as her father owned a gym in Brooklyn and her mother is a former spin instructor. While fitness became a major part of her life, Alexis found an additional passion growing up with dance. She took up dancing at The Ailey School and the Professional Performing Arts School and furthered her career in their Certificate Program. After graduating from The Ailey School, she began freelancing and started to test out the different fitness avenues in New York City. After dropping in at Tone House, Alexis realized this was unlike any other workout she had done before and for once she felt like she was part of a team, which she never experienced growing up. She embraced that camaraderie by investing herself fully into the Tone House culture. Alexis is now a NASM certified personal trainer and brings the heat with a smile on her face to every client that walks into the House.
